What is an exclusive reseller?
An exclusive reseller is another way of saying “the only” reseller. On Amazon and, to a lesser extent, other marketplaces, multiple sellers create competition for the buy box. Brandwoven seeks to be the only seller so that we can maximize sales and deliver all of our services in support of your brand’s growth.
Do you purchase products?
Yes, for brands who utilize our exclusive reseller solution, we purchase, own, and resell your product just like a traditional retail relationship – except we also help to manage your brand on Amazon, Walmart.com and other marketplaces. That said, for most brands we only offer our services, allowing them to be the seller and own the Amazon store with Brandwoven to support other areas, such as account health and customer service.
When does this model work best?
For most brands, we encourage owning their store or having their own Vendor Central account. But for some, this isn’t practical – so we offer resale services. This is a service offered for those where the tax, sales, or accounting challenges of owning the Amazon account doesn’t work for their business.
