Brandwoven excels in aggregating and analyzing data to make complex challenges simple. Our team understands data can’t be the sole input for decision-making, but we lean into it whenever appropriate.

Om Mushroom required assistance transitioning from two Vendor Central accounts to a single Seller Central account. To drive their business with data, connections were established to both their Vendor and Seller Central accounts. With these connections, strategists gained comprehensive visibility into total sales, traffic, and inventory levels. This detailed insight allowed Om Mushroom to follow executive summaries while demand planners precisely timed the transition of stock by SKU to Seller Central.

By setting rule-based strategies and leveraging data, Om Mushroom was transitioned to 1 Seller Central account with a high in-stock rate without overstocking. We scored a 95% in-stock rate and kept supply to 45 days of inventory. Note that this was done when Amazon had intensive FBA capacity restrictions on new accounts, making these stats even more impressive.

Without well-organized data and reporting, migrating Om Mushroom to their own Seller Central account would have been an impossible task. The move ultimately put Om Mushroom in control and increased their estimated profit margin by 8%.

How is data pulled from Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces?

Brandwoven implements API calls and scrapes for our clients. We invest in data collection and understand the value it brings to our partnerships.

How is data stored?

We store our Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplace data in Google Cloud. Storing the data in Google Cloud makes it readily available to query and provides modern security.

Why do I need data and reporting services beyond what is provided by the marketplace portals?

Marketplace portals provide data exports and reporting, but the challenge is that it is time intensive to pull, combine, and aggregate that data. For example, we pull inventory levels every day to report how many days an item is out of stock; it would be time intensive to approach that manually.

I don’t have experience with Amazon reporting. Can you coach me?

It is common for new clients to need coaching on Amazon data points. Details like Buy Box % are unique to the industry. We will be happy to coach you and, more importantly, put the insights into standard business terms for your participation in decision-making.

Can you pull legacy data in my account?

Yes, when we first partner we will pull all available data to enhance your reporting and our decision-making. Multiple years of sales can be pulled from existing accounts. Inventory reporting can typically go back 180 days.

What data will I need to continue to open my marketplace account for?

Most, if not all, of your data and reporting needs will be covered by Brandwoven. We don’t anticipate needing to go into any marketplace portal to pull data.
